Dawson, born May 9, 1979 [3] in America, is an American actress. In 1995 she
made her debut in a feature film with the drama independent Kids. Her later
film roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in
Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof
(2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The
Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013),
Top Five (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson has voiced characters
for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. The
actress was also nominated for the Critics' Choice Film Award for Best actor in
a comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) Zombieland: Double
Tap (2019). Dawson was born in New York City on May 9th 1979. Isabel Celeste,
her mother is Afro-Cuban. Isabel was just 16 when Rosario was born. She never
married Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was one of her
mothers who married Greg Dawson (a construction worker). Dawson is four years
older than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson is also well-known for
her various characters in comic book adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City
(2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the
shows from Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018) and voiceovers for Diana Prince/Wonder
Women in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara
Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie. She also voiced Ahsoka Tano's
character in the Mandalorian's second series in 2020. The character will also
play the lead role in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also be
appearing in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy series written by Dwayne
John in 2021.
